Dink on the Green

Liam and i went back to explore the green a really nice park in down town houston today it was 96 out so it was perfect for some water and running around the park.Later that day when i was watching the waeter station i saw me on tv chasing liam, they have a weater camera that shows down town on the news!!so that was fun.Today we got food for the week, and hung out at home..tomorrow we're going to try out a new park in the morning, so that should be fun!

The boys arrive

Tonight we got they guys from chris's work coming to stay with us for a week while they work on a big job. Timba is very excited to have guests, i am sure Liam is too tomorrow morning when he wakes up.. Its going to be a busy week for the guys, and Liam and me are going to a tots around town group tues that i am really looking forward to. Its for new moms to the houston area, and toddlers hosted at different moms houses every week..

Time is flying by

This week has gone by really fast. Liam is getting so big, its time to get him some big kid toys, mostly a big truck...We went to the park today and i saw it coming before we got there. There were two big toy trucks sitting by the slides, and two twin boys playing near them on the playground. Liam didnt see them right away but he has a sense about those things, and found them in a matter of minutes. So he played with them for a little bit and was so thrilled. Then the little boys wanted them back and the tears just came flowing, and didnt stop so we had to leave and they still kept coming...His trucks at home are getting a bit small, since he likes to push them around. He is getting a mouth full of teeth which is painful, but he's really good about it. He loves airplanes, every time he hears one he put up in the air and says"ahhhh" in one of his books there is a picture of an airplane that he makes me point to and make airplane sounds everytime he finds it. Liam also has figured out that if he sits up on the couch and get the controler and points it at the TV while he sits next to dad and look cute he gets to watch his baby movie..He then gets on his baby phone and runs around the room yelling loudly..yup we have a little techie baby:)

A Rainy Day thankgoodness!

So according to the news here in Texas were undergoing a really bad drought that the whole USA is going to suffer from since we are a huge source of wheat and meat..Farmers are loosing all their crops since it has only rained once in 3 months. So meat prices are going to go way up in price,good thing we like tofu:)Glad it looks overcast like it may rain today, everything is still so greeen here you wouldnt think they needed rain. Also heard something on the news, since its so dry snakes are coming to try to find water and lots of people are getting bit!!!yukkkk so i hope that it rains to the snakes stay where they are away from playground etc..Today well its early stilll and we're just hangint out trying to get Liam to eat breakfast and to make sure Timba doesnt chew on Liams toys. Chris is going to work later on today, and hopefully we'll get to change our drivers licenses to texas ones, i guess they are pretty strick about that once you move here.

Monday

Nothing much happened today...Liam had 3 naps so kind of worked around that with playing and making food and walking timba. Chris's work went really good today so glad things are getting going here. Made cookies today which was a huge mistake since they are almost all gone:) Tomorrow were going to the park, also ive been trying to teach timba to come,leave it etc...he is a good dog, but so so hard to train since he wouldnt come out from under the couch to get a treat, so no training him today..

Old Town Montrose Sundays

Today we just took a long walk along old town/montrose and checked out thrift shops that were way way way over priced, but it was fun looking around. We had a good relaxing sunday, tomrrow Chris goes back to work, so were happy things are taking off here. My friend from Michigan Hannah had a little baby boy, so im sorry that i wont be able to meet him for a while. Hopefully we'll be home for thanksgiving..

Rainy Days

today rained a little bit, but tomrrow it is going to storm pretty bad. it hasnt rained here in months!! we hung out at home today, went for a walk when chris got home from work....Timba is going to be getting trained this week, im done with him destroying my things!!

Happy Mothers Day

Thank you to my two wonderful mothers Sandia and Liz....You two are such amazing women thank you for all your have done for me. Being a mom now i can just start to understand how wonderful life as a mother is.. Thank you so much i love you both so much.I am so blessed to have to both in my life. I got my two boys to take me to the zoo, where we chased pigeons watched monkeys and had slushies...I cannot describe how much i love and care about my little boy, he means the world to me!!Thank you Liam for being such a sweet caring little boy!!

Crazyness in Houston

Liam and me ending up driving right past all the crazyness that happened.It looked like a war zone hundreds of police cars and guys with guns running around..we were on our way to pick up a futon from someone on the other side of town. So glad everthing worked out with this. Chris was at work all day out in Beaumont and got home late tonight. Tomorrow we may be going to the zoo for mothers day. Going to take some pictures of our apt tomrrow now that its coming together being furnished mostly.

So Jeff didnt come to vist today..so we just hung out today.

COLD weather

So no pool yesterady, it was chilly!Today was a bit chillly too but we all went to the park for a bit after Chris worked on a demo this morning. Them we just hung out, nothing much going on. Tonight Chris and me are busy emailing businesses about the glass restoration we offer at shineglassrenewal.com...hopefully we'll be getting a big job at the end of may right here in Houston Texas!!Tomrrow Uncle Jeff is coming to vist and we may go out to Austin for the day. Will post pictures soon!

May 1st

Today was a lazy day just went and got Liam a high chair so he now sits at our table with us with his little place mat poking his food with a straw while we eat! We also went to kroger got some food for the week. Liams been taking some long naps so we didnt get out to the musems we wanted to today. His morning nap was 3 hours and his after noon nap was 2 hours!i think i have a growing boy on my hands! We also got tennis balls for Timba, so now Liam loves playing catch with him through out the day. Liam also figured out he can climb on our couch/futon. so his new thing is putting his trucks up and then climbing up after them throwing them off and going getting them and repeating. He also loves spinning in circles until he falls down laughing..Im looking forward to going to the pool tomorrow and will post pictures!
